Great example of a Wehrpass that belonged to a concentration camp guard who was in duty in 2 camps: KL Sachenhausen and KL Mittlebau-Dora. This guy was transferred from Luftwaffe in 1944, as many other veterans or from the reserve, to cover the necessities of camps when war effort needed personnel from SS Totenkopfverbände to fight in the east as things got difficult for Germany. This Wehrpass is in really mint condition, with many entries and stamps, also from KL Mittelbau-Dora and KL Sachsenhausen, and it comes also with an extra photo of the guard and a document. Inside the Wehrpass we also found a banknote of Kantine money for Mittelbau-Dora! This money was used exclusively by camp staff (guards, clerks, etc). He kept one when he served as guard in KL Sachsenhausen, maybe as a memento. It is like a time capsule! A stunning item directly connected to Konzentrationslager system and Holocaust!
