This is a drawing of David Schulman (1881-1966) born in Hilversum in the
Netherlands.He was a Jewish painter.
He was prisoner in the Dutch transit camp Westerbork in 1943.
He drew this drawing by pencil 30x15 cm for a female prisoner for her birthday.
They both survived the war.
In the Westerbork museum of remembrance since 2015 are two drawings by David
Schulman exhibited.
Westerbork is the camp where Anne Frank has been captured before she was
transported to KL Auschwitz and then to KL Bergen Belsen.
