Postcard sent from Jewish person in Ilza to Jewish community in Litzmannstadt ghetto !

In the matter of seeking an address for a family member Feldman Jacob.

We find in Yad vashem archives some information about this man:

Jakob Felman was born in 1910. Prior to WWII he lived in Lodz, Poland. During the war he was in Lodz, Poland.

Jakob was presumably murdered in the Shoah.

Ghetto in Ilża

On December 6, 1941, the local Kreishauptmann ordered the creation of a ghetto in Iłża. The Germans locked up about two thousand people of Jewish descent in it - residents of Iłża and deported from nearby towns. The ghetto was liquidated on October 22, 1942. On that day, the Germans transported all Jews from Iłża to the Treblinka extermination camp.
