One-of-a-kind museum item! An original suitcase of a KL Theresienstadt deported Jew! One-of-a-kind museum item! An original suitcase of a KL Theresienstadt deported Jew! This suitcase that appeared in Czech Republic, was the suitcase that the Czech Jew Jakub Szlemer carried with him when he was deported to the infamous KL Theresienstadt 11.02.1945. So we are talking about an absolute rarity and amazing item, only seen in some Holocaust museums such as the one in Auschwitz or Yad Vashem. It had the lock systems broken so the owner had to manage to fix it and keep it closed with a rope. Rope is still there! Suitcase is obviously empty but it is really shocking to see it in hand! It transports you to the past! It also has painted the name of the owner on the surface of the suitcase, as Nazi authorities obligated the Jews to do, with a paintbrush and with white paint! A chance to get one of the most impressive items we have had for sale in years!
