Very shocking photo of Jews in an unknown ghetto in Poland (maybe Warsaw or Lodz) selling food to get some incomes and wearing star of David armbands. It seems to be a big ghetto, that's why we think it must be Warsaw or Litzmannstadt. Road and sidewalks are big enough to be in a big city. We also see Jews in elegant costumes, also with David star armbands as well as poorer Jews. This contrast was very common in Ghettos in Poland. Jews that lived in big cities such as Berlin deported to Poland or Polish Jews from Warsaw and Lodz that were even rich were mixed with very poor Jews of the Eastern areas. Since in ghettos there was no money or food in some cases, people must invent new ways of getting money to by food. Here's a case of a couple of poor Jews selling some kind of food to feed themselves.
