2 genuine cloth patches that belonged to a German inmate from Protektorat Bohemia and Moravia who was imprisoned in KL Dachau and KL Buchenwald! Named and researched and camp survivor! His name was Franz Vondracek, and was born in Zasada. He has German nationality since he came from the Sudetenland, part annexed to III Reich by Hitler. He was a political prisoner, therefore he wore the red triangle.

One of the patches is made from striped fabric piece cut out from the period concentration camp uniform, with identification number patch and red Winkel still stitched! Number on both patches is the same: 20798, identification number he was given in KL Buchenwald.

The other patch is a white linen fabric one, with the identification number 20798 and his surname "Vornacek" written on it as well as "Bl. 6/3" acronym that stands for Block 6/3, where he was imprisoned inside the camp. This second patch is also unstitched from some kind of belonging of the prisoner, maybe a blanket or so, so as to identify that it was his. It's hand written in beautiful letters.

Franz Vondracek was in KL Dachau in the "punishment barracks" in 1939. In KL Buchenwald he was assigned to the "Gärtnerei", a pseudo plant nursery and in the "Schachtkommando I", the labor unit for digging ditches and tunnels.

Both patches are in very good condition and they could be perfectly framed to show it in a museum of private collection.
