Ausweis issued to a Polish man from Bromberg that worked as locksmith for Energieversorgung Wespreusen A.G and was part of PreussenElektra . Employed Polish forced laborers during the Second World War. The Borken plant employed 700 forced laborers. This emerges from a document of April 23, 1940. Towards the end of the war, the power plants became a strategic target of Allied bombing.
Ausweis comes with photo of the owner and it was issued in 1943. Then on the back it's written that the contract was renewed in 1944 and 1945. Document is heavily used and shows plenty of crease but it's complete.
