Big set of papers that belonged to a Hitlerjugend member who was POW in Russia and who eventually died in 1950. Set includes 2 photos of this boy when he was in Hitlerjugend, one of them wearing the HJ uniform. The other with a gun. There's also some letters exchanged with an evangelic priest, since this boy was very religious. Apart from that we find many letters around 29 exchanged by this boy with relatives and the priest when he was in POW camp. Some of the letters are nicely decorated. Sadly, this boy died in Russian POW camp in October 1950 according to a letter where it's said that a returned POW from same Russian lager where our boy was imprisoned knew about his fatal fate in that prisoner camp. There is also some documents and papers regarding Red Cross and Evangelic associations of Prisoners of War. Nice and sad set of a boy whose life took to an end in the horrible prisoner camps. Condition of the set is excellent.
