Ultra rare huge anti-Semitic wooden sign with the infamous motto "Wer beim Juden kauft, ist ein Volksverräter". This could be translated as "Who buys from Jews is a traitor to the country". Sign or panels like this were hanged in public places or shops, so as to disuade aryans from buying there. This was another part of the campaign against the Jews implemented by the Nazis to isolate Jewish business. It was a huge boycott that tried to ruin all the Jewish businessmen. This wooden panel is hand-carved with that motto surrounding the head of a Jew with big nose and lips, fat and ugly. The typical stereotype against the Jews, commonly used to denigrate them. Sadly this sign is partially damaged by woodworm and part of it is unreadable but it's 85% complete and it's still a rarity and very collectable and not often seen. Only few arrived to our days and some are exhibited in Holocaust museums.
