We offer this time for sale this interesting set of documents belonging to a Jewish mother and son who survived the horror of the Holocaust. The set comprises: 2 Identity cards of the Jewish Congregation, issued after the war with photos of each of the Jews, mother and son, and written in German and English. A machine typed certificate of the German Jewish association, issued in 1945, that belonged to another son of this woman, where it's detailed that he was captured by the Gestapo and taken to a labor camp for Jews and was later taken by German Jewish Association to a hospital and later liberated to go to Frankfurt, where he was born. There's also a pocket almananc in Hebrew and English and a III Reich period Ausweis issued to this son with the name Israel included on it, which means that he was identified like all the male jews with that name. There's also some other less valuable papers in this set. Finally there's a very nice used condition star of David, in German version with "JUDE" name written on it. A genuine yellow Star of David in its JUDE version, like those used by Czech  and German Jews during the III Reich Period, so that they could be identified and persecuted by Nazi authorities. This infamous sign has become one of the saddest and most powerful icons of last centuries when it comes to racial and religious persecution, and of course the most famous emblem that identifies the Holocaust, the extermination of the Jews in Europe. This one is worn condition, with all the legit details that confirm the authenticity of the star.  Stars like this were compulsory to wear on every jacket or upside item of garment worn by the Jews, so it must be stitch and unstitched depending on the piece of clothing they were to wear that day. Stars like this are rare to find in guaranteed original condition many is mint or never used but difficult find used one. Examples like this and included in such a set are only seen in museums and in the best private collections all over the world!
