Very old rationing card for food used in the Jewish ghetto in Litzmannstadt. With many coupons to be removed to exchange them for food, these rationing cards were distributed by the Jewish council of the Ghetto to feed the Jews that were dying from starvation while living in poor conditions. In this case, the rationing card is named and with the facsimile signature of the Elder of the Jews of the Jewish Ghetto Litzmannstadt, Chaim Rumkowski. Some coupons are missing, so that means that it was used up to some point. Overall condition is good. Rare item.
