Interesting photo of two Jews cleaning the streets with a spade in Lemberg/Lviv. On the reverse is written with a pen "Juden in Lemberg" (Jews in Lemberg) and the stamp of the photographer "Photo Winkler F422 Gorlitz". It was common to ridicule and denigrate the Jews by the Nazi authorities forcing them to do absurd activities. It appears in the book by Norbert Podlesny and Daniel de Varannes "A Glimpse of Evil - Part I of a Trilogy", the best reference book ever published about the Holocaust artifacts and collectibles.
