Ultra rare document from KL Buchenwald signed by the Lagerkommandant of this camp Hermann Pister. This document is dated 6.August 1942 and it deals with the order sent by Lagerkommandant Pister to take a Polish prisoner again to the isolation cell building so that he didn't have any contact with any other prisoner. We suppose this prisoner was punished for any particular reason and taken to those cells. Document says that he was taken out of the punishment cell to undergo interrogation (for sure not a friendly interrogation) and was again put to that isolation module.

Signature is handwritten by Pister. Pister had the rank of SS-Oberführer when he was commandant in KL Buchenwald last 3 years of existence of this infamous Nazi camp. He replaced Karl Otto Koch in this concentration camp. He was the main responsible for the "Death Train" to Dachau, with hundreds of prisoners from KL Buchenwald. He was found guilty of crimes against humanity and sentenced to death by hanging in 1947. He eventually died in prison by acute heart attack in 1948.
