Letter sent by Gestapo office in Litzmannstadt in 1942 to Ghetto Jewish Council of the Lodz Ghetto regarding the Jew Lewin Michael Szlawa who was valid for work in the Ghetto. The letter says:"I request that the above-named be assigned to the local ghetto. Since the Jew is an expert, he must be involved in the work process immediately."
