Nice example relic condition Totenkopf ring found during excavation carried out by detectors in the East. These rings were common among st the soldiers of the Waffen SS and Wehrmacht, and were bought privately in jewellery and militarily articles' shops. Skull was a symbol during III Reich, used mainly by the SS but skull was an old emblem used by German army 2 centuries ago. This one was obviously used by an unknown soldier, who lost it or just fell during battle and ring laid for decades forgotten until it was recovered from battlefield. A very nice example. If only it could talk!
