Outstanding named and researched concentration camp Polish inmate striped jacket of a German prisoner who was in KL Sachsenhausen! The iconic Holocaust artifact

Price:$4,900.00
Product category:

We list for sale this outstanding named and researched concentration camp Polish inmate striped jacket of a German prisoner who was in KL Sachsenhausen. This jacket is made from legit thick winter fabric used in many Nazi concentration camps all over Europe. This one comes with the legit patch stitched to the breast and it has the "Kennzeichen" or ID number of the prisoner, which is the 24781 and the "Winkel" or red trianlge for political prisoners with the "P" that stands for Pole (Polish). Prisoner name was Wladislaw Ruzanski, and he was arrested and taken to Sachsenhausen concentration camp in 1940. Jacket as minor damage although is used condition. We can see a repair on the lower right side using another type of fabric, and a rip on one of the armpits. As a curiousity, we think this jacket was originally a women's jacket that was later modified for a male. Buttons are also legit and period, but 2 are missing.

If you want to own a true concentration camp item, the iconic striped jacket that anybody can see in Holocaust museums and other concentration camp memorials such as that in Auschwitz, this is a great chance! Not everyday you can find items like this for sale.
