Set National Socialist Womens League Membership Badges.

Price:$65.00
Product category:

A group of three membership badges. (Deutsches Frauenwerk) and 2 x (Nationalsozialistische Frauenschaft Mitgliedsabzeichen).1) The "Deutsches Frauenwerk" (German Womens-welfare-organization) was established in September 1933, eventually being absorbed into the "NS Frauenschaft" (National Socialist Womens-organization). Members were issued lapel badges to distinguish them, this example being a first pattern members badge for non-NSDAP personnel. Alloy badge takes the form of inverted triangle. It features a black enameled central field, edged in silver, upon which is a silver washed mobile sunwheel swastika above a "Leben-rune" (Life-rune). The top silvered edge of the badge is wider than the sides and features the red enameled Gothic script, "Deutsches Frauenwerk." To the reverse, to either side of its vertical pin-back device, is an embossed RZM logo and an "M1/......." manufacturers code. 2,3) The "Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft" (National Socialist Womens-organization) was formed by absorbing the earlier "Deutsches Frauenwerk" (German Womens-welfare-organization), and the "Deutscher Frauenorden" (German Womens-order), into a single national organization. A slightly convex, alloy and enamel badge in the form of an inverted triangle. "N.S. Frauenschaft" is to the white band to the top of the obverse, underneath of which is a white cross against a black background. To the center of the cross is a red, static swastika, and "G" is to its left arm, "H" to its right, and "L" to its base. These Gothic letters signify the Frauenschaft motto, "Glaube, Hoffnung, Liebe" (Faith, Hope, Love). All of the letters, and the edges of the swastika, cross, and the badge itself, are in the same gilt color as its alloy base. To the reverse is an embossed marked "Ges. Gesch.," for "Gesetzlich Geschützt" (By-law Protected) and RZM logo and an manufacturers code "18" and "24"( is a earlyer maker mark from Overhoff).

From the battlefield, with traces of hard wear. Position 2 and 3 no pin-back. As the pictures shown.
