Set includes a bronze infantry assault badge award document in perfect condition and a very interesting photo album of this SS-Sturmann war activity until 1942. Photo album includes photos in occupied Poland, Russia, etc. With comrades, fallen soldier's graves, prisoners of war, training periods, headquarters, captured and other war equipment, etc. Also troop transport all over the East front, showing places such as the Danube river in Hungary, Demjansk pocket, Porchow, Staraja Russa or Kalitkino. There's also a very nice small photo of this soldier in SS Totenkopf uniform. 

In one of the photos we can see SS Ostüf. Wilfried Richter decorated with the knight's cross. SS-Sturmbannführer Wilfried Richter from 3.SS-Division “Totenkopf”, won fame during the fighting around the village of Kalitkino in the Demjansk-Pocket in the winter of 41/42. He led a group of SS-men in a counterattack against a Soviet armored unit, armed only with teller mines to knock out 5 T-34s, then moving his Grenadiers to the safety of their bunkers Richter called down a Artillery barrage on his own position,Killing many Russians and Knocking out another T34.
