Super rare and beautiful artifact, never see before for sale! we offer for sale a small and beautiful goldsmith anvil used in Litzmannstadt Ghetto by Jewish jeweller in one of the workshops that were there operative during the Ghetto existence. It's beautifully engraved with date 23.11.1943 and the name Litzmannstadt Ghetto! We imagine how many gold and silver rings and other jewels might have been manufactured in this anvil by Jewish goldsmith hands! Many for sure last ones used by hundreds of Jews that sadly were later murdered in many Nazi camps. Many of those gold and silver items were for sure taken by them to concentration camps, where Nazis seized them and made them into ingots to send them to the Reichsbank. If this anvil could talk! Beautiful item with a lot of history!
