This set is really complete, and it includes really nice hand made greeting cards and a very interesting photo album. All belonged to to Oberstleutnant from Wehrmacht Lahr. This set includes:

- A hand drawn and binded booklet with funny scenes and texts depicting the officer Lahr with his dog. All done by a soldier of the company of Lehr and given to him as a present. Very nice and signed by all the soldiers.

- Hand written and drawn Christmas greeting booklet in 1942 dedicated to Major Lahr of the 6. Pioneer Battalion. It has the stave with the song of the Pioneers

- An official Wehrmacht document that makes official the promotion of Major Lahr to Oberstleutnant in 1943.

- 5 different greeting cards sent and hand written by different Pioneer companies greeting Oberstleutnant Lahr for his promotion

- A great and deluxe photo album of the 6. Pioneer battalion with dozens of interesting photos. Among them we can find photos of this officer with relatives, at his home, with comrades, with soldiers of his battalion, also photos with vehicles like tracks or cannons mounted on railways, photos having fun during the winter in the snow, etc.

But also, and this is really remarkable, there are photos of an important Italian visit, with the brother in law of Mussolini and the foreign affairs minister of the Fascist Italy, Galeazzo Ciano. Also nice photos of Oberstleutnant Lahr in the Maginot Line! Photos of bunkers and memorials in this historically famous French defensive line. Since this man was a Pioneer, we find also nice photos of bridges being built and other infrastructures.

All the set is in great condition being the photo album specially unique.
