Very nice and touching death letter sent by the Kriegsmarine to the family of a fallen KM soldier who died in 1945. This letter explains to his family that the Marinenartillerieobergefreiter Franz Ehrich died with honor and heroism in the invasion front of Germany according to the German Red Cross and that he is buried in the Lesneven cemetery. During all the letter, the captain shows his condolences and talks about the heroism of this soldier. He also tells his family that they must take that letter to the correspondent office for the caring of families of deceased soldiers to certify his death and receive a compensation and economical help. Letter is complete but it has a tear that was repaired with adhesive type.
