We offer this rare and not often seen item: an original linen sack used in Boote (ships) and U-Boote (submarines) of the Kriegsmarine to collect the Feldpost (soldier post) of the crew. These sacks were used to collect letters that crew sent to relatives and also to receive the correspondence from relatives that was handed out inside the ships. Sack is made from linen in the C.B. Line Leinenfabrik in 1944 and it's maker marked on the reverse. Sack is complete and big, and it's in perfect condition.
