Warsaw  - People eating dead horses end of September 1939. Two very shocking photos of Warsaw streets around end of September / October 1939 when civilians looked desperately for any kind of food. They are cutting or eating horsemeat. On the reverse there is a desription that says "Warsaw Ghetto", but probably this is some kind of mistake. Photos come from German soldier's photo album. They also appears in the book by Norbert Podlesny and Daniel de Varannes "A Glimpse of Evil - Part I of a Trilogy", the best study about Holocaust memorabilia and history ever published!
