Impressive and rare set belonging to a crew member of the infamous "Cap Ancona" ocean liner. The "Cap Ancona" ship was infamous due to the fact that it was used to transport all the surviving prisoners of the Neungamme and Stutthof concentration camps, so that the witnesses and victims of those atrocities could be killed in the sea and couldn't make the world know about it. The ship was sunk by Royal Air Force killing about 5000 people, what is considered the second biggest sea tragedy in history. The set comprises: An ID card of the crew member of the ship, whose photo is attached. ID card is in Spanish because this ship made the route between Hamburg to South America. A Russian letter sent from a POW camp, since this man was captured by the Russians during the war. A post-war document in German and English Refugee Registration card of a Refugees' camp His cap bevo type crew members' cap title All in good condition apart from ID that has some tears and creases.
