One years later same factory used concentration camp prisoners !
In Traunaustraße, in the district of Noelsmühle in Wels, from 27.12.1944 to the transfer of the prisoners on 13.04.1945 to Ebensee Concentration Camp, there was an outside camp of the Mauthausen concentration camp.
The approximately 1,900 prisoners were used to erect a warehouse under the camouflage "Waldwerke" for the aircraft and metal works in Wels, in the repair of aircraft and motor vehicles, as well as for clean-up after air traffic.
