We acquired this KRETA cuff title that was glued to the first page of the photo album of a German Fallschirmjäger who took part in the occupation of the island of Kreta (Greece). As you can see in the photos, the back part of the cuff title has some small glued areas with little paper remains, that with patience can be removed. Honestly, the way glue affected the back of the cuff title isn't that important and it also has some period repairs with white thread. It's obvious that this Kreta cuff title has seen action and it was heavily worn, therefore the repairs. But it has a great patina and apart from some small areas with glue and some tears on the back that doesn't affect the display and front part of this nice title, it's very nice piece and for sure with history. We must underline that this item is completely flexible, and not rigid, so you can imagine that glue remains aren't that important. This title is complete, unstitched from the tunic of the veteran.

These go normally in good condition for 300-350 eur. You won't find a cheaper Kreta cuff title for sure in this condition!
