Here is an unmistakable combat worn Waffen SS helmet.  Exterior exhibits approx 75% of its factory feldgrau (field gray) paint. Authentic and factory applied ET style decal commensurate with the overall wear and also rates at approx 75%. Super tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. There is a proper dusty build up between liner and shell as displayed in close up images. Goat skin leather liner has no major damage and darkened from age. All 8 drawstring eyelets intact. Drawstring in full length with 2 breaks in it. Chinstrap buckle is steel with approx 75% of the gray paint intact. Long portion of the chinstrap has been period cut down by the soldier for ease of comfort while remaining soft and pliable. Overall very good condition… a must to any serious collection.
