Product category:

We offer one of those rare and fascinating items that pop up from time to time in Poland. This one is a zinc panel to threaten Polish population in Krakow in 1944  with reprisals if they don't stop slandering Germans. Therefore German authorities list the names of some Poles that were executed for talking bad about them. Panels like this one, made from zinc or other kind of metal, were hanged on special places like official buildings by Nazi authorities so that population could feel terror if they didn't collaborate or just support their occupiers. In some other cases, messages like this were printed on leaflets that were handed out in the street. Board is in Polish and German and these are almost impossible to get. Only 2 were found in Krakow during the renovations work that underwent the roof and old house in the old city of Krakow. Damage caused by humidity is very small and it's perfectly readable. Don't miss the chance to get such a unique item!
