Rare Letter Sent in 1937 by SS Doctor and DRK Director Ernst Grawitz Regarding Prisoners in National Spain and answering to a request made by the Spanish ministry of foreign affairs representative in Berlin Luis Alvarez de Estrada Baron de las Torres. Letter is written in French and hand signed by Grawitz himself. Ernst-Robert Grawitz (8 June 1899 – 24 April 1945) was a German physician and an SS functionary (Reichsarzt, "Arzt" meaning "physician") during the Nazi era and Director of the German Red Cross. Grawitz funded Nazi programs involving experimentation on inmates in Nazi concentration camps and was part of the group in charge of the murder of mentally ill and physically disabled people in the Action T4 programme. In April 1945 as the Soviet Red Army advanced on Berlin, Grawitz killed himself and his family exploring some grenades. Photo is just copy to show this guy.
